I am reading ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People’ by Stephen R. Covey and during Habit 3, he asks you to write down the answer to two questions: “What one thing could you do (you aren’t doing now) that if you did on a regular basis, would make a tremendous positive difference in your personal life?” and the same question for your professional life.
Well, my answer to the first question was to get up earlier (5.30am instead of 7.00am is what I had in mind).
That same day I received a phonecall from a job vacancy I had enquired about to ask if I would like to start work this week! That’s great! When do I start?
Thursday morning…. 4am!!!
